SEFP Vision and Goals

Our Vision 

Our vision is to provide a publishing outlet faithful to the voices and viewpoints of people of color and women  in Africa, the Americas and the Caribbean, enabling them to tell their stories as they see them. 

Our Goals

  • To publish excellent scholarly works, fiction, non-fiction and children's literature to a broad range of readers, including traditionally underserved populations.

  • To re-publish out-of-print manuscripts that are relevant and of value to a contemporary readership.

  • To convene retreats, conferences and workshops in order to identify excellent literature.
